We are proud to announce that applications are now open for the Birhane Hiwot Annual Leadership Training Program, taking place in June 2026.
This is a highly regarded program designed to equip our senior students with the spiritual, moral, and practical skills they need to become effective leaders — in our Sunday School, in their families, and in society.
Who should apply: • Students currently in Grades 9 through 12 • Young people who demonstrate commitment to school and church life • Those with a desire to grow, serve, and lead
What participants gain: • Leadership and communication skills workshops • Mentorship sessions with church elders and community leaders • Understanding of Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo traditions and governance • Certificate of completion and recognition at a graduation ceremony
Program dates: June 2026 (specific dates to be confirmed) Location: Church conference room and outdoor spaces Duration: 5 full-day sessions over 2 weekends
